Good Day Climbing

Esta é a empresa do meu amigo Cho. Quando fui a primeira vez a Railey ele foi o guia que "aluguei" para me fazer segurança pois ficava mais barato alugar este serviço que já inclui o material (e visto que fui sozinha a primeira vez não compensava levar o material todo de escalada na viagem interminável para a Ásia). Por cerca de 700 Baht (perto de 15 €/dia) ficava-se com um serviço de um guia que nos acompanha nos sectores todos, pode-nos pôr as vias em top, com o material todo (arnês, pés de gato, magnésio, cordas, etc) e água. Alguns incluem até o almoço e os preços como tudo na Tailândia são negociáveis. Na altura o Cho trabalhava para o King Climbers (Railey), uma das lojas/escola de escalada mais conhecidas de Krabi, junto com as do Tex (Railey) e do Wee (Ton Sai). Entretanto ele abriu a dele em Ao Nang. Para quem vai em grupo pode também alugar material separado (cordas, expresses, etc).
Recomendadíssimo pois para além de falar bastante bem inglês é um dos poucos guias que vai escalando sem ser “as vias do costume” e uma pessoa com a qual podemos contar para nos ajudar em qualquer outra eventualidade como aconteceu comigo.

This is the company of my friend Cho. When I was the first time in Railey he was my climbing guide that I rented to belay me. It was less expensive to rent this service that already includes all the material (and since I went alone for the first time it was too expensive to take everything on the plain to the far Asia). For about 700 Baht (close to 12 £/day) you can get the privet service of a climbing guide/teacher that guides us trough the different sectors, puts the lines on “top rope”, and with all the material needed (harness, climbing shoes, chalk, rope, etc) and water. Some includes even lunch and the prices, like everything in Thailand, are negotiable. On those days Cho was working for King Climbers (Railey), one of the shops/schools most well known from Krabi, as well as Tex (Railey) and Wee’s (Ton Sai). Meanwhile Cho opened one of his own in Ao Nang. For those who are travelling in group can also rent separate material (ropes, harnesses, clips, etc).
Very recommended because not only he speaks fluently in english and he’s one of the few that really climbs not only the “usual lines”, he is also a very reliable person that might help you in whatever you need has he did with me when I had some problems there.
